Ideal location near a lovely garden and local eateries. For some great drinks, check out Al Grappolo d'uva, which is just a short 10-minute walk away! 🍷

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the position overlooking the bay, the cleanliness of the rooms all made for a very enjoyable anniversary celebration holiday.
We were not told that the pool was under annual maintenance and therefore unavailable to us.

Staff are exceptional. The staff were amazing with our children (5, 9, 10), they made us feel so welcome and personalised their service. By the end of the second day we felt like we had stayed many times in the past. They were super responsive helping us with transfers, with suggestions on where to eat out as well as ideas on where to go and what to see. The breakfast is AMAZING without a doubt it is the best we have had anywhere in the world (and we travel a lot + 60 nights a year)!!!
We had a bad experience at dinner but this was qucikly remedied and we were reinbursed after mentioning the issue (with no fuss). We found the beds were a little hard and the pillows OK.

Walking distance to bars and restaurants. 6. First-class service, flexible staff. I found Hotel Villa Carlotta in Taormina to be our new go-to spot whenever we're in town. the hotel is special, with rooms that are well-stocked and a stunning view of the Ionic sea. Its location is great, just a 10-15 minute walk from Corso Umberto, and within walking distance of bars and restaurants. the first-class service provided by the staff, who are also very flexible, added to the overall positive experience at this hotel.

The town of Taormina and the Hotel Carlotta are in a good location with beautiful sea views. The hotel has extremely friendly management and front desk staff always willing to give helpful advice and assistance. They arranged para-gliding trips for our children and suggested to us the best approach to Mt. Etna. Excellent breakfast with friendly service and with wonderful views. Car parking taken care of by hotel staff. All our party forund the rooms comfortable in a traditional way and reasonably well equipped. Free wi-fi functioned very well.
Open air bar at the top of the hotel is probably fine most parts of the year but very chilly in November. The small inside bar on the ground floor was poorly laid out and rarely attended. Seating accommodation in the restaurant was not flexible enough to accommodate our group of 8 at one table. Elevators were very slow and extremely unresponsive. Parking at €15.00 per night was rather expensive.
